The temple rises : the upper floor slab is made.
The structural and masonry works are carrying on. The pilars of the temple now bear the upper floor concrete slab.
The outer stairs and the ornated overhanging roof of the entrance already shape the main frontage of the temple.
The works on the outbuilding at the entrance of the site have also made a significant progress. The frontage walls enclose the ground floor and part of the terrace floor.
The facing, made of rough dressed stones, is finely layered on its concrete base.
The quality of the construction materials and the care given to their implementation are a guarantee of the durability of the building.

Progress of the structural work : foundations of the temple and first floor slab of the outbuilding.
The works made a significant step. After the completion of the foundations and of the base, the frame of the building at the entrance of the site keeps on rising.
Massive reinforced concrete pillars have been cast. They support a grid of beams as well as the first floor slab.
On the terrace, the bas of the temple is finished : a bedding made of reused stones fills the cells between the trench footings.
At each crossing of the footings, the reinforced concrete pillars start to rise.

The base is put up.
On the rim of the temple, now stands the base of the building. It is made of two cut rough stones wall filled with concrete in between.
An iron framework that will guarantee the solidity of the structures connects the temple's pillars.

The groundworks of the temple are nearing completion.
In February, deep excavations had been dug in order to firmly anchor the future temple.
The stone trench footings that will support the walls and the first slab are currently built between the reinforced concrete foundations, ready for the temple's pillars.

The following drawing shows the main elevation of the future lhakhang (temple).
Designed by Ugyen Chophel, the lhakhang will adopt the classical rectangular layout.
Overhanging the main entrance, a corbel will be made of finely worked wood.
The multiple roof will also be a real improvement to the initial state.
